The west coast of Wisconsin is not thought of as a hotbed of ska and reggae music.
TUGG has carved quite a career of channeling tropical grooves and breezy melodies.
They hold a “local legend” status and pedigree among their faithful in the upper
Midwest. In their illustrious career, they have directly opened, toured, and played shows
with Ziggy Marley, Bad Religion, Sublime with Rome, Slightly Stoopid, The English Beat,
The Wailers, The Dirty Heads, Billy Strings, PASSAFIRE, Barrington Levy, The Itals, The
Aggrolites, Iration, Lynard Skynard, Gin Blossoms, Trampled by Turtles, Chris Krueze,
Horseshoes & Handgrenades ... and many more. It's no wonder that TUGG garners
national attention and have become hometown heroes.
The band's last 5 releases debuted in the Top 50 on iTunes Reggae. Their
album, Home Brew, peaked at #2, behind Bob Marley’s “Legend”.
