Mid West Music Fest (MWMF) is a music festival in the Driftless Region of Minnesota featuring regional artists for 16 years. ​

The mission of the MWMF is to promote music and art in the region, creating opportunities for artists, stimulating downtown economic development, and providing diverse educational resources for artists, community members, and children.

2009
MWMF is founded by Sam Brown
2014
Lizzo, Caroline Smith, Dosh, The Cactus Blossoms perform.
2016
Established as a non-profit,
La Crosse Festival begins
2019
Longshot & Lazerbeak, The Last Revel perform.
2020
The fest takes place virtually
Charlie Parr, Sierra Ferrall headline.
2022
The festival returns to its original format!
2010
Dessa headlines the first festival
in Winona, MN
2015
Communist Daughter, Chastity Brown perform.
2017
Dead Horses, Night Moves, The Big Wu perform.
2020
MWMF Live Session production begins.
