    It's time to show off the schedule for MWMF in Winona, MN. Happening across downtown from May 10-11, our venues will showcase a lineup of superb talent from countless genres and cities. Explore the artists playing the fest on our artist webpage, and get ready to discover new music. Single Day tickets are now available here for $50.00 ($55 at the door).   • 2024 Winona Lineup announcment

    LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉 MWMF is excited to share our 15th anniversary lineup of musicians. This collection of former and new fest performers is going to be a blast! This year’s festival highlights include headliner Night Moves — the psych-rockers from Minneapolis and longtime festival favorite — and Raffaella — a rising star with recent collaborations with Hippocampus and Samia. The fest is also bringing back legecy acts from across the festival’s history for its 15th year, including previous headliners Heiruspecs, Rogue Valley, Lucy Michelle, and Black-Eyed Snakes featuring Alan Sparhawk of Low and Retribution Gospel Choir. Festival regulars like The Shackletons, Mike Munson, My Grandma’s Cardigan, and Maudlin with play alongside dozens of newcomers including Nathan Graham, Allison Mahal, Sean Anonymous, Chutes, Aiden Intro, and more . Locals will see plenty of familiar faces within Texas Toast, Radium Girls, Waisted, and Beet Root Stew across the weekend. Shakey Graves, Nick Drake, Charlie Parr Commonly known as "Doc" Pat Dougherty is the multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter behind theyself. Currently Doc is the host of Desert Islands on KFAI and has toured the country and released records with several bands including Elle PF and Fairfax, AK theyself takes a page out of nearly every songbook and blends influences from blues, Americana, soul, and even a bit of house and punk rock to create a brand of dance folk that has been described as "acoustic techno" or "y'allternative" In 2018 theyself was nominated for "Best New Band" by City Pages after they recorded their debut EP Wolf Tower one night in a hotel room on an 8-track recorder using only a pair of headphones as a makeshift microphone.     < Back WAISTED Winona, MN Friday 8:00 PM Peter's Biergarten For Fans Of... The Stooges, The Ramones, Black Flag, Husker Du The band was formed and started playing original music in July of 2023. All members of this band belong to, or have participated in other local Minnesota bands (The Reach Outs, Swashbuckler, Rogue the Wolf, and BUSEY). Each individual member brings a unique quality or skill to this band which contributes to a sound unlike their other respective groups.     < Back KYM St. Paul, MN Friday 4:00 PM Acoustic Cafe For Fans Of... Caroline Smith, Jade Bird KYM is a cheeky queer babe hailing from St. Paul, MN. KYM released their debut EP "Not 4 U" in Spring 2020 - six tracks grounded in pop and salted with early 2000s rock. KYM has a playful, honest approach to heartbreak, personal growth, and the experiences of navigating the world in a femme body. KYM's songwriting has evolved over the last four years to include dancey guitar, rhythm, and vocals, with the same great storytelling.
