Black Velvet Punks

Black Velvet Punks are an all Black Jazz fusion, alt rock and hip hop group from Minneapolis, Minnesota featuring Taylor Ngiri Seaberg (guitar/keys), Traiveon Dunlap (drums/vocals), and Roderick Glasper (bass/vocals). Their unique brand of entertainment fuses three part vocal harmonies, fluid rapping, and hard hitting funk grooves with grit. They have performed at Walker Art Center's Terrace Thursdays, First Avenue Goes to the State Fair, and many other events.
