Oklahoma born and Saint Paul based rapper, OKnice, has been releasing music since 2017. After several smaller project he released his full length Have You Tried Being Happy? in March 2022. The album was well received and landed on several year end lists both in the Twin Cities and around the world. His music is fueled by raw honesty with clever wordplay over a wide range of production. The rappers live show is based in his experience in punk and hardcore, backed by drummer Jay Weiler, serving as a hybrid of both drummer and DJ. He strives to be relatable and focus on topics like mental health and grief while still putting on an energetic and engaging set.
